Radboud University is pleased to offer Masters Degree Scholarship Programme for international students of high academic ability for 2020 entry.

Radboud University is a public institution that has a strong focus on research.

This university was established officially on 17 October, 1923 and the school is situated in the oldest city of the Netherlands, at Houtlaan 4, 6525 XZ Nijmegen, Netherlands.

The Radboud University has seven faculties and enrolls over 22,000 students.

The Radboud Scholarship Programme offers a select number of talented prospective non-EEA students the opportunity to receive a scholarship to pursue a complete English-taught Master's degree programme at Radboud University.

Radboud Scholarship Programme is for talented students who have obtained good outstanding study results and are highly motivated to pursue a Master's degree, i.e one can say that this scholarship

Level/Field(s) of study: Each year about 30 Radboud Scholarships are awarded to selected talented international (non-EEA) students for the duration of one of the English-taught Masters Degree Programmes listed below:

Target group / Eligible Countries: Non-EU/EEA International Students

Eligibility: As a candidate seeking to obtain Radboud Scholarships, you will only be eligible if you:

are not eligible for the lower EEA tuition fee for other reasons

have or will obtain a Bachelor’s degree which is achieved outside the Netherlands, have no degrees achieved in the Netherlands and did not receive any previous education in the Netherlands

have been fully accepted to the English-taught Master’s degree programme starting September 1, 2020 as stated in the formal letter of admission

are able to comply with the conditions for obtaining a visa for the Netherlands

are registered at Radboud University as a full-time student for the academic year and Master’s degree programme for which the scholarship will be awarded

Selection Criteria: Those seeking for Radboud Scholarship will be selected based on the following criteria:

(i) Talent: what it means is that you must have outstanding study results in your present field of study

(ii) You are expected to be a promising student in your desired field of study at Radboud University

(iii) Your academic quality must be sound and good results of your prior education for example through grades, test scores, publications

(iv) Quality of the recommendations in the two reference letters

(v) Motivation: based on your motivation letter for the Master’s progamme

(i) The scholarship will be used to reduce your tuition fee to €2,143 and pays for costs for visa and insurance.

E.g as grant holder of 2020/2021 academic session, you will pay a tuition fee of only €2,143, instead of €11,471 or €12,645.

(ii) In addition the Radboud Scholarship also covers costs such as those for visa, residence permit, health insurance and liability insurance (Insurance Passport for Students (IPS)).

(iii) *The Radboud Scholarship is not a full scholarship and does not include living costs.

In the case of a two-year programme: you need to have passed all courses in the first year for you to qualify for the grant during the second year.

How to Apply: The application for admission and the application for the scholarship are fully integrated; there is no separate application procedure for the scholarship.

Notwithstanding, the selection for Radboud Scholarship programme (RSP) and the admission to the Master’s degree programme are two different separate processes.

Admission to the programme does not imply selection for Radboud Scholarship programme (RSP).

During your application for admission in the OSIRIS Application system, you need to indicate that you wish to apply for a Radboud Scholarship.

During your application, you will upload three additional documents: two reference letters and a curriculum vitae.
